Lillian Catherine Injaychock
Lillian Catherine Injaychock, age 102, passed peacefully in her sleep on Aug. 28, 2021. She was a former resident of Rivercliff Drive in Milford, preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester, in Lord Chamberlain in Stratford after a brief illness. Lillian was born in Wilkes Barre, PA to the late Joseph and Mary Yuscavage. Educated in the Wilkes Barre School System and was a resident of Milford for 65 years. Lillian enjoyed gardening as well as giving the vegetables she had grown to family, friends and neighbors. She also was a great fan of the UCONN football and basketball programs. After moving to CT in 1945, she held a number of jobs. As a defense plant employee, she packed fifty caliber belts, and soldered lockers for the Navy. She tested florescent lights in a local factory and also worked at Bostwick Laboratories in Stratford. Later, Lillian spent thirty enjoyable years (while hiding her actual age) while working as a waitress in the Housatonic Lodge, Fagan’s Restaurant and Augustine’s Blue Goose. Survivors include sons,
Michael, Joseph ( Janet) and James (Nikki), four grandchildren, Michael, Edward, Erica and Stephen, several nieces and nephews and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Ann Church (St. Raphael Parish). Interment will be private.
