Police: Man dies after falling off car in Milford

MILFORD — A Florida man died after falling off the top of a car near Interstate 95 early Tuesday morning, according to police.

A 29-year-old Stratford resident was driving her 2002 Honda Civic near Old Gate Lane shortly after midnight Tuesday. Cody Henry, 24, of Summerfield, Fla., was riding on top of the car, according to the Milford Police Department.

Henry fell from the car near the northbound Interstate 95 off-ramp for Exit 40, police said.

Emergency personnel transported Henry to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he later died from his injuries, the police department said.
