High Holy Days schedules announced
Congregation Mishkan Israel schedules events
HAMDEN — Congregation Mishkan Israel, 785 Ridge Road, Hamden, is holding in-person and virtual services and events.
Sept. 10, Shabbat Service - In Person and Online, 6 p.m. Rabbi Immerman and Cantor Giglio will lead our community in prayer. Services will continue to be offered both in person and online through Zoom and livestream.
Sept. 11, Shabbat Morning Torah Study - Zoom, 9 a.m. Rabbi Steinberg will continue teaching Tools of Torah: Knowledge to enrich our understanding of Tanach through September. No previous experience is needed. Classes are on Zoom; contact the office for the password.
Sounding the Call, endorsed by Rabbi Immerman and co-organized by a CT congregation and Dayenu, the national Jewish organization directed against climate disaster. To ensure that everyone feels comfortable attending services, the congregation offering them both in person and online. Accessible seating can be reserved by contacting the office.

WOODBRIDGE — Congregation B’nai Jacob, 75 Rimmon

Sept. 3, 9 a.m. Bread and Torah in the chapel and on Zoom

Because of Labor Day, Monday morning minyan will be at 9 a.m.
Weekday morning Minyans at 7:45 a.m. in the Chapel and on Zoom.
Evening Minyans at 6 p.m. Sat.-Thursday, 6:30 p.m. Friday Shabbat evening.
High holiday services will require masks, and all must be vaccinated. Seating will be spread out in the sanctuary to assure safety of all, and will be streamed for those who do not want to be inside. Families will be seated together, while socially distanced from others.
