2021 FAXON LAW NEW HAVEN ROAD RACE BY THE NUMBERS
The Faxon Law New Haven Road Race is back this Labor Day.
After canceling the 2020 race due to COVID-19, the event is back this year with an expected 4,000 participants across five different races including the 20K National Championship with a field highlighted by Olympians and some of the country’s top marathoners.
Here’s a look at what to expect for the 2021 Faxon Law New Haven Road Race by the numbers:
2 – Former Olympians running the 20k (Leonard Korir and Jared Ward)
6 – Number of runners over 80 years old participating
8 –Number of runners in 2021 who have competed in every New Haven 20k or Half Marathon
12.4 – Miles in the 20k race
13.1 – Miles in the Half Marathon
28 – Years served as the 20k National Championship (longest running U.S. National Championship)

83 – Age of oldest female participant (Patricia Carton)
