John Joseph Moccia, 55, of Lutz, FL, passed away suddenly September, 1,

2021. Born in Orange, CT to parents Anthony and Pearl Moccia. Beloved brother to Paul (Gerrie) Moccia of Lansdale, PA, Carmine Moccia of Maui Ha., Robert Moccia of Key West, FL, Christine Moccia of Orange, CT Richard (Teri) Moccia of Meriden, CT and Paula Moccia. He was predeceased by father Anthony P. Moccia, brother David J. Moccia, niece and Godchild Jessica L. Horelick and sister-in-law Gerrie McKeown Moccia. He leaves behind nieces and nephews. A lover of music, he played with the band Thunderbolt Brown. His creative talents and boundless energy ran deep and he was a jack of all trades. Quiet and reserved, his quick wit, spontaneous humor and Peter Pan- like sense of adventure would suddenly appear, catching everyone completely off guard. Deeply devoted to family and friends, he was truly a blessing to us all and our lives are richer and fuller for knowing and loving him. He will be greatly missed. Services will be determined by the family at a later date.
