New Haven Register (New Haven, CT)

Yes, enough is enough

-

A letter by Susan Mohn bemoans the New Haven Register for becoming a “propaganda machine.” In her opinion, if you support “Trumpism” you are dangerous. Susan also cries foul Vincent Cirillo’s letter on President Biden’s race baiting. She appears to be triggered by the article that points out the racial divide in this country, promoted by this administration.

Susan, et al., here are only a few exact quotes from Joe Biden:

“Well I’ll tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t Black” ( source: The Breakfast Club interview with Charlamagne Tha God).

“Poor kids” just as bright as “white kids” (source: August 2019 interview).

Jen Psaki, Biden “continues to demonstrate his commitment to take comprehensive action to address systemic racism that persists today” (source: White House press briefing February 2021).

Biden calls racism an institutional ‘white man’s problem’ (source: campaign speech

Keene, N.H., 8/20/19).

Biden, “America is a place of systemic racism” (source: press brief 2/21/21).

As a white member of this country, I am offended and find the “white blaming” disturbing and dangerous. People like Susan are a danger to our rights to free speech (source: First Amendment). We do not have to fall in line for group think because the media and political left say we should. This rhetoric is dividing our country by race.

This is America, my views, my truth and my rights are equal to anyone else’s. So, to the Susans out there, I disagree with your politics, I don’t value your opinions, and I (we) have the right to speak up and speak out. There are many of us in this country who feel the same way, we are fed up.

If you want to hear the left echo chamber, continue to watch CNN, or read the New York Times. To the New Haven Register, continue to be a news organization that gives a voice to one and all.
