AnnaMae Ruiz

AnnaMae Ruiz, 78, of Palm Coast, FL passed away unexpectedly on September 9, 2021. She was born on

July 30, 1943 in Meriden, Connecticut to the late Harriet Auger (Slie) and Ralph Papale. As a young lady she served in the United States Navy for four years. Upon serving her time and being honorably discharged she then began her life as a loving wife and mother.

AnnaMae worked in the Flagler County school system for over 25 years and her friends treasure their conversations and friendship. She was an avid reader of the Bible and had her trust in God our lord. She enjoyed shopping, watching TV especially her 2 favorite game shows, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She Loved baking and will always be remembered for making “THE BEST CHEESECAKE” and “BUTTERED GRAM” almond cookies.

AnnaMae is survived by her siblings Marilyn Ferrari (Papale) and Arthur Papale (Lynda) and her children Katharine and her husband Tom McCormack, Mark and his wife Deborah Ruiz, Amy and her husband Antonio Torres; grandchildren, Aliyah, Joshua, Anthony, Quinn, Mark Anthony, John Michael, Ryan Andrew, Sean Patrick, Luke Edward; her nephew Alan Battis and his wife Michelle and many more loving relatives and friends. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
