Trequon Lawrence Sr.

Trequon Nivek Lawrence Sr., 27, of New Haven, passed away on Sept. 8, 2021, at YNHH. Trequon affectionately known as Tre was born Feb. 14, 1994 in New Haven, CT to Pashion Watts-Gaines and Trevor Lawrence.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son Trequon Lawrence Jr. (TJ), longtime companion Talea Colon. Parents Pashion and LaShawn Gaines, Trevor Lawrence. Sisters Nikita, Nariyah and Trinity Gaines. Grandmothers Laverne Watts and Mary Gaines and a host of aunts, uncles , cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Thea N. Lawrence. Maternal grandfather Bernard Watts (Gwen) and paternal grandparents Donald and Shirley Lawrence.

Services will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Church on the Rock, 95 Hamilton St., New Haven.

Calling hour will be at 10 a.m. and the service at 11 a.m . Interment will be at Beverdale cemetery immediately after.
