Anna B. Rowsome, age 85, of Wallingfor­d, formerly of West Haven, passed away peacefully at LiveWell on September 14, 2021. She was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Michael

Rowsome. Anna was born on February 22, 1936 in New Haven, CT to the late Charles Bauroth and Katherine (Morrissey) Bauroth.

Anna attended West Haven High School, class of 1954. She worked as a secretary for SNET for over 25 years until her retirement. A woman of strong faith, she was a parishione­r of

Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in West Haven. Anna was an avid reader and loved living across the street from the library. She also loved the West Haven beach where she enjoyed taking long walks. Most of all, she will be remembered for the deep love she had for her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Maureen (Charles) Conable of Wallingfor­d, Mary (David) Doyle of Wallingfor­d, Patricia (Michael) Caron of Cheshire, and Helen (Matthew) Segal of Middletown, eight grandchild­ren, Alicia Labacz (Scott), Kevin Conable, Caitlin and Michael Caron, Megan and Ryan Doyle, Joshua and Jillian Segal, and one sister, Helen Klein.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Bauroth and George Bauroth, and one sister, Marian

Potter.

The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the care partners at LiveWell in Plantsvill­e and to home health aide Samantha Smith, for the exceptiona­l care they provided Anna over the years.

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven, CT on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated

Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, 300 Captain Thomas Blvd., West Haven, CT. Interment to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
