FRANK D’ADAMO

Frank D’Adamo, 88, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 18th, 2021, at YaleNew Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma Pieragostini D’Adamo. Frank was born in New Haven on November 16th, 1932 and was the son of the late John and Angelina Bernabeo D’Adamo. He served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Korean war. Frank worked in construction for many years and was an avid antique dealer. He enjoyed watching a good horse race. When someone was in need, Frank was always there to lend a helping hand to family, friends and strangers. Father of John (SueAnn) D’Adamo, Steven D’Adamo and Joanne (Mark) Gabucci. Brother of Ann Brockett and William D’Adamo. Loving grandfather of John (Maribel) D’Adamo, Stephanie and Briana D’Adamo. Greatgrandfather of Nicholas D’Adamo. Predeceased by his companion Jean Esposito.

The visiting hours will be Thursday morning, Sept. 23rd from 8:30 to 10:30 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, Hamden at 11:00. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamden. www.northhavenfuneral.com
