Malone, Cheshire march past East Haven

Murphy Malone had two goals and an assist for the Cheshire boys soccer team, which shut out East Haven 5-0 in an SCC win at East Haven.

Noah Gougsa added a goal and an assist for the Rams.

Guilford 3, Lyman Hall 0: Stephano Jarrin scored the first two goals for Guilford in an SCC home win.

Valley Regional 1, Morgan 0: Simon Partyka’s goal in the sixth minute held up for Valley Regional, which won this Shoreline Conference game at Clinton.

These same two teams squared off on Saturday, with Morgan winning that game 1-0 at Deep River.

Sheehan 2, East Haven 0: Amy Casorla and Katelyn Casorla both scored for Sheehan (2-2) in an SCC win at Wallingford. East Haven dropped to 1-3.

Hamden 3, Law 2: Ariana Zuniga scored the deciding goal for Hamden in an SCC win at Milford. Shelby Green scored twice for Law.
