Ferrie sisters lead Branford

Sisters Tess and Ava Ferrie scored both of the goals for the Branford girls soccer team, which defeated Hand 2-1 Tuesday in an SCC game at the Surf Club in Madison.

Joelle Budz and Kendall Infantino assisted on the goals for the Hornets. Rory Parri scored for Hand.

Sacred Heart Academy 1, Foran 1: Skyler Agresti scored in the second half to help Foran salvage a tie in an SCC game at Milford. Juliana Garcia scored for Sacred Heart Academy.

West Haven 1, Guilford 1: Madison Lentine’s second-half goal helped West Haven earn a tie in SCC action at Guilford. Tea Gambardella scored in the second half for Guilford.

Shelton 4, Lyman Hall 2: Audry Kozak scored twice in Shelton’s SCC victory at Wallingford.

Isabella Tellez and Mia Ferriera added goals for the Gaels. Roisin Turbett and Shianna Reeves scored for Lyman Hall.

Seymour 3, Ansonia 0: Nikol Decruz had two goals and an assist for Seymour in an NVL home win. Katie Bruno added two assists for the Wildcats.
