Judith “Judy” DeFeo

Judith “Judy” Diane Dacunte DeFeo 88, of Orange beloved wife of Robert H. “Bob” DeFeo passed away on September 24, 2021 surrounded by her family at CT. Hospice. Loving mother of Robert P. (Dawn) DeFeo of Bethany, Susan D. Simone of Orange David H. (Laura) DeFeo of North Branford, Mark C. (Aileen) DeFeo of Orange, Steven M. (Pam) DeFeo also of Orange and the late John E. DeFeo. Judy is survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mother-inlaw of Margaret DeFeo of New Jersey. Judy was born in New Haven on May 29, 1933 daughter of the late Peter and Georgiana Phillips Dacunte. She attended St. Louis Elementary School, Sheridan Junior High and Gateway School – Girl’s School in New Haven and graduated in 1950. Judy had a kind heart, a fierce mind and a brave spirit. Judy was a family woman, she loved her family and enjoyed having big family gatherings, she had a quick wit, an amazing sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She will be in our hearts forever.

Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 830 Jones Hill Rd. West Haven TUESDAY morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Infant Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Family and friends may call TUESDAY morning from 8:30 to 10:30. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CT.
