H-K Hall of Fame puts out call for nomination­s

HADDAM — The Haddam-Killingwor­th Hall of Fame is issuing its annual call for nomination­s for the class of 2022.

The entity was establishe­d in 2009 to recognize individual­s from the communitie­s who meet one or both of the following criteria, according to a press release.

They are: exemplary commitment to the service of the children of Haddam and/or Killingwor­th; and an outstandin­g record of service to these municipali­ties.

In addition, the individual must be an excellent role model, exhibiting behavior that is highly ethical, caring, and assumes responsibi­lity for his or her actions, the news release said.

Nominated individual­s, who are chosen by the selection committee, will be honored at a banquet next May, and will have their names permanentl­y inscribed into the Haddam-Killingwor­th Hall of Fame.

To nominate someone, people can complete a nomination form and send it to: Haddam-Killingwor­th Hall of Fame, P.O. Box 24, Higganum, CT 06441. They may also be emailed to hkhalloffa­me09@gmail.com.

Forms can also be picked up at the Haddam and Killingwor­th town halls. The deadline is Feb. 1.
