Hall (4-0) at Platt (3-1), 6:30 p.m.: Looking at both teams’ upcoming schedules, you realize just how big this game is. It’s pivotal.

Platt Tech (2-1) at Quinebaug Valley (4-0), 6 p.m.: Does Platt Tech have a shot here? Maybe if the drive doesn’t wipe the Panthers out first.

ECC

Killingly (3-0) at Stonington (3-1), 6:30 p.m.: Stonington has allowed just 20 points all year. Killingly averages 46 and hasn’t played since Sept. Do the math.

FCIAC

Bridgeport Central (0-4) at Warde (0-4), 7 p.m.: Both winless teams have their issues, but vastly different ones.

Westhill (0-3) at Ridgefield (3-1), 7 p.m.: The Tigers will to want to get to bed early to make that Saturday trip to watch St. Joe.

NVL

Wilby (0-5) at Kennedy (1-3), 7 p.m.: Wilby used to dominate this series. Then Kennedy won five straight until a 32-16 loss in 2019.

Oxford (0-3) at Watertown (2-2), 7 p.m.: Thankfully, the NVL has been accommodat­ing off-the-field for Oxford. On it? Well...

Wolcott (1-3) at Derby (0-3), 7 p.m.: Derby plays its next three games at home. Then again, its gorgeous complex isn’t exactly hostile.

Hand (2-2) at Shelton (3-1), 7 p.m.: a playoff game.

Fairfield Prep (3-1) at Notre Dame-WH (2-2), 7 p.m.: This rivalry will speak volumes about where both teams ultimately are headed in 2021.

Xavier (2-2) at Cheshire (3-1), 7 p.m.: Want to get back into the season, Xavier? This is where you start.

Amity (3-1) at Sheehan (2-2), 7 p.m.: So Sheehan wasn’t at Hand’s level. OK, fine. How about Amity’s?

Wilbur Cross (2-2) at Harding (1-3), 7 p.m.: It’s been feast or famine for the Govs this year. Last time a famine. Here comes a feast?

East Haven (0-2) at Law (2-2), 7 p.m.: Where did Law of Week 1 go? Need to shore up the defense, guys.

Lyman Hall (1-3) at Branford (3-1), 7 p.m.: When do we really giving Branford some attention? Because it might be soon at this rate.

Guilford (2-2) at Hillhouse (0-4), 6 p.m.: After rough start, Grizzlies finally looking the part. But Hillhouse might be due.

Foran (2-2) at West Haven (3-1), 7 p.m.: These schools are practicall­y neighbors, yet it’s not much of a rivalry.

North Haven (0-4) at Hamden (3-0), 7 p.m.: Finish this sentence: If North Haven had Hamden’s schedule ....

Barlow (2-2) at Brookfield (2-2), 7 p.m.: Brookfield is 0-2 vs the SWC but 2-0 vs. the SCC and, unlike Barlow, actually beat Foran.

New Milford (3-1) at Masuk (3-1), 7 p.m.: New Milford hasn’t beaten Masuk in 20 years. (That was a fun New Milford team, btw)

Newtown (2-2) at Bunnell (4-1), 7 p.m.:

Now we’ll get to see if Bunnell truly is ready for prime time.

Pomperaug (0-4) at Stratford (2-2), 7 p.m.: The last time Stratford actually had a winning record? 2015.

Bassick (1-3) at Griswold/Wheeler (0-3), 6:30 p.m.: Long trip for Bassick. But for a good chance at a win? Worth it.

VG Techs (0-4) at Thames River (4-0), 3 p.m.: If you’re a non-CTC Class L playoff hopeful, games like this aren’t encouragin­g

Waterford (1-3) at NFA (2-2), 1 p.m.: Doesn’t look like Waterford’s year (Nor NFA’s, come to think of it).

Trumbull (3-1) at Stamford (0-4), Noon: Trumbul’s Corbin Smith has become quite the Saturday matinee idol.

Weston (1-3) at Notre Dame-Fairfield (2-1), Noon: Jailon Denny and Tayshawn Dixon have been a good 1-2 punch for the Lancers so far.

New Canaan (4-0) at Norwalk (4-0), 12:30 p.m.: Norwalk hasn’t beaten NC since 1999. Does the Sunday kickoff hurt or help the Bears?
