Nancy E. Kross

Nancy E. Kross, age 73, entered into eternal rest on October 12, 2021, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Peter M. Kross. Nancy was born in Derby on February 23, 1948, daughter of the late Alfred W. and Ruth McGrath Yagovane. A lifelong Valley resident, she enjoyed arts & crafts, ceramics, music and baking thousands of cookies during the holidays. She also enjoyed cheering for UConn Basketball and the New York Yankees. 11 in Seymour. In addition to her husband Peter, she is survived by a loving son, Ryan M. Kross of Ansonia, a brother, Frederick Yagovane of Seymour, a sister, Audrey Smith of Seymour, brotherin-law, Ronald Kross, MD of New York and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Robert Yagovane and sisters, Arlene Patterson and Marilyn Fainer. Visiting will take place on Tuesday morning, October 19, 2021, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/ BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Her funeral will then proceed to the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow in Mount Saint Peter Garden Mausoleum in Derby.
