77, of North Haven, beloved wife of 59 years to

Sisto J. “Butch” Tarquino, passed away on October

18, 2021 in Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus. Loving mother of John (Cheryl) Tarquino of Northford, Joseph (Shirley) Tarquino of Meriden, Jeffrey Tarquino and Christine (Scott) Leighton all of North Haven. Joan is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sister of Shirley Roberts of North Haven, Carol Ferraro and Doris Appelby both of Florida and Robert (Catherine) Treloar of North Haven and the late Sylvia Cicarelli and John and Kenneth Treloar. Joan was born in New Haven on February 20, 1944 daughter of the late John and Louise Coutts Treloar. Prior to her retirement Joan was a packer for 36 years for Giering Metal Finishing Company. Joan also loved her flower gardens and loved playing cards.

Family and friends are invited to a parlor service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven THURSDAY morning at 10:30. Interment will be private.
