Mary Irvin

Mary Magdalene May Irvin, of Hamden, Connecticut passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was born on August 16, 1943, in Greenville, North Carolina to the late Joe Thomas and Senetta (Blackman) May.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Clenone James Irvin; her six children, Clenone (Debra) Irvin Jr. of Hamden, CT, Audrey (Ernesto) Galvan of Corpus Christi, TX, Angela (Dennis Jr.) Irvin-Reynolds of Houston, TX, Larry (Carla) Irvin of Hamden, CT, Mary (Corey) Frost of Hamden CT and Tamala Irvin of Hamden, CT; her three siblings, Apostle Helen L. Cogdell of Hamden, CT, Ann House of Greenville, NC, and Johnny Ray Nobles of Lebanon, MO; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-four great- grandchildren.

A Public Wake and Calling hours will be Wednesday 10/20/2021 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at McClam Funeral Home, 95 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511. Wake is open to public. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home.
