Louise Willig

Louise R. Willig, 92, wonderful wife, great friend, and 34 year Madison resident passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on October 18, 2021. Louie grew up in New Haven, the daughter of the late Jean and Paul Rossomondo, graduated from Commercial High School and immediately began a long career at Southern New England Telephone Company, especially in the legal department. She is survived by her loving husband

Peter F. Willig of Madison, her sister-in-law Karen Rossomondo of Branford, her nieces Kara Larzelere (Gregory) of Stoneham,

MA, Kristi Rossomondo of Westport, CT, Donna Ryan (John) of Branford, niece and nephew Carol and Paul Rossomondo of Hamden, and dear friend Anita Ruge, formerly of Madison. She was predeceased by three brothers: Paul (Hamden), Frederic (New Haven and Branford), and Angelo Rossomondo

(Branford). Louise enjoyed long walks, reading good books, the Wall Street Journal, difficult crossword puzzles, British dramas on Masterpiece, many trips to Florida, the Caribbean, Vermont and Cape Cod.

She was an active volunteer at the Madison Scranton Library for more than 20 years.

In view of the Covid 19 Pandemic, burial will be private for family only. Swan Funeral Home, Madison is handling arrangements.
