Hannah Chuckas, Westhill: The junior diver took first in her fifth consecutive meet when she compiled 247.66 points in a meet with Greenwich. Chuckas drew scores of 7.5 and 8 with her inward pike dive in the first round.
Leila Sofiane, Sheehan: A
senior captain, Sofiane swept the distance freestyles in their meet against Shelton. She had times of 2:07.71 in the 200 free and 5:41.72 in the 500 free. She also was part of the winning 200 medley relay.
Ally Bradley, Greenwich: Bradley was first in the 200 IM and 100-breaststroke in a meet with Pomperaug.
Kacie Wines, Hand:
Wines won two events, the 50-freestyle (27.06) and 100-freestyle (58.75) in a meet with Law. Wines posted wins in the 50-free and the 100-backstroke against Hamden.
Alexa Darak, Law: Darak was first in the 200-freestyle with a time of 2:10.24 in a meet with Amity. She swam the first leg of Law’s winning 400-freestyle relay.
Katie Franco, Greenwich: Franco sprinted to wins in the 50-freestyle and the 100-freestyle when Greenwich defeated Pomperaug.
Grace Mahon, Amity:
Mahon was first in the 100-butterfly with a time of 59.64 against Law. She also swam on Amity’s winning 200-medley and 200-freestyle relays.
Grace Sweeney, Hand:
Sweeney earned a pair of firsts in a meet with Law and North Haven. She took first in the 200-freestyle (2:03.66) and 100-butterfly (1:02.27) versus Law. Sweeney won the 50-free (26.47) and 100-free (56.40) against North Haven.
Olivia Huewe, Greenwich:
Huewe placed first in the 100-butterfly and 100backstroke versus Pomperaug.
Emma Savoie, Law: Savoie won the 200-individual medley (2:22.62) and swam the final leg in Law’s winning 400-freestyle relay against Amity.
Katherine O’Connor, Amity:
O’Connor teamed up to defeat Law in the
200-medley relay and the 200-freestyle relay. She took first in the 100-freestyle with a time of 57.41.
Samantha Chemacki, Hand:
Chemacki placed first in the 200 IM (2:21.62) and 500-free (5:27.68) versus
Law.
Lauren Sender, Amity: Sender won the 50-freestyle with a time of 26.41 versus Law. She also swam on the winning 200-freestyle relay team.
