Christine DeLieto

Christine Donnarumo DeLieto of New Haven died peacefully on October 19, 2021, in Yale New Haven Hospital with her family by her side. She was the devoted wife of 60 years of the late Frank “Mel” DeLieto. She was born in New Haven on April 2, 1929, to the late John and Nicolina Morgillo Donnarumo and had worked for 25 years as a key punch operator at Anthem Blue Cross-Blue Shield. She was also a member of the East Haven Senior Center where she loved playing Bingo. Christine will always be remembered for her amazing singing voice, her infectious laugh and a beautiful smile that would light up any room!

Christine was a loving and devoted mother of Donna DeLieto Marotti and Frank DeLieto. She was predeceased by her sisters Marie Zotti and Madeline Siena. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Christina and Anthony Marotti and Alyssa DeLieto.

Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Pl., New Haven, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 355 Foxon Rd., East Haven, CT at 11:00am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
