Angelina Arpino, 99, of East Haven, CT passed away peacefully on May 6, 2022 at Branford Hills Health Care Center with her sons by her side. She was born on September 19, 1922 in Amorosi, Italy to Michael and Maria (Gaudio) Cacchillo. Angelina is survived by her two devoted sons, Anthony Arpino (Ann) of Branford and Vincent Arpino of East Haven along with four grandchild­ren, Lisa Arpino, Nicholas Arpino, Lauren Arpino, and Alex Arpino.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Arpino (1981), two brothers Giuseppe and Pietro Cacchillo, brother-in-law Vincent Arpino, and sisters-in-law Isabella Arpino and Maria DiStasio.

Angelina was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmothe­r and was devout in her Roman Catholic faith. Her greatest joy was in caring for her family and friends, whom she provided for lovingly and with generous abundance.

Family will receive mask wearing friends at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 9 A.M. until 10:40 A.M., at which time her procession will leave for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in St. Pio of Pietrelcin­a Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Associatio­n in memory of Angelina Arpino.
