Freedom is the issue

I'm tired of Susan Campbell and others who give no relevance to what is important. The issue has become the lack of tolerance to the First Amendment, we here in the Northeast have become intolerant of conservative views to the point of a recent article suggesting we become a refuge for Democrats. I truthfully believe that the state wants a one-party rule which goes against everything in the Constitution. Those in red states express the same wishes believing that all of non-members are Communists at heart, we don't want Democrats here.

Well, I guess I'm in the minority because I believe in one word, freedom, Freedom to speak my mind without being attacked in the grocery store because I wear a MAGA hat, which I can't for fear of my life in Connecticut.

Freedom to say the government is too big, or that they are mishandling the COVID outbreak, God forbid I don't wear a mask the little old lady will attack me in the lobby. Are we to become a nation of only followers? I hope not!

Well on the point in The Godfather, Clemenza puts raw meat into the sauce which then becomes gray, we can debate the terminology over a drink. My grandmother also did it that way, TV Chefs like to bake, but my 94-year-old mother fried them a little. Hope this gives clarity to the subject.

Remember freedom is the real issue.
