Rose E. DiGirolamo

Rose E. DiGirolamo, age 86, died on May 9, 2022 at Masonicare, Wallingford, Connecticut. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on January 25, 1936, to the late Anna Perrotti Caccavale and Ernest Caccavale. She was the wife of the late Dino J. DiGirolamo and mother of Lori DiGirolamo Friedman (Howard) of Westport, Dino David DiGirolamo of Hamden, Lynn DiGirolamo Mut (Rick) of Hamden. Rose is also survived by grandchildren, Michael Friedman (Selam), Julia Friedman Shacklette (Evan), Adam Friedman, Nicholas DiGirolamo (Sydney), Gabrielle DiGirolamo (Sal), Ryan Mut, Ava Mut and great-grandchildren Peter Shacklette, Lily Friedman, Roman Orsini, Nico Orsini and Gino Orsini. She is also survived by her sisters Anna Dickerson (Richard) of Woodbridge, Carol Orlando (Robert) of Wallingford, Elaine Lettieri of Norwich and Deborah Caccavale (Rick) of Port Charlotte, FL. She and her husband were the owners of Beverly Hills Beauty Salon in Westville for 39 years. She will always be remembered for bringing family and friends together and creating many lifetime memories. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Saturday, May 14 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford. Visitation will be at the Church from 9 – 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Avenue, West Haven.
