TOP PERFORMERS Kayla Bretan, Shelton:

Bretan, an attack, scored six goals, including the game-winner in overtime as the Gaels beat Law, 11-10, on Tuesday.

Ava Matikowski, Cheshire: The junior scored six goals and had one assist in the Rams’ 17-5 win over Sacred Heart Academy last Thursday. She also scored four goals in a 15-7 to Wilton.

Sadie Ruiz: Wethersfie­ld:

The sophomore attacker scored her 50th goal during a six-goal performanc­e in a 17-8 win over Watertown on Monday. Ruiz, who is averaging four goals per game, also had 13 goals and dished out 6 assists in three victories last week.

Rita Sefransky, Fitch:

The Falcons’ senior captain had five goals and five assists in a 12-5 win over Stonington on Monday. She also had a hat trick and an assist in an 18-7 loss against Weston on Saturday, and recorded 13 draw controls in the two games.

Molly Snow, Wilton:

Snow had 14 points in Wilton’s wins over Brien McMahon 19-1, and Cheshire 15-7 last week. In the game against Cheshire, she collected eight points with a hat trick and five assists.

Taylor Werner, Weston:

Werner scored four goals and had one assist in an 11-9 victory against New Fairfield on Tuesday. She also collected four draw controls, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers.

Kacie Wines, Daniel Hand:

The senior reached a career milestone when

she collected her 200th point during the Tigers’ 9-3 win over Simsbury on Saturday. She finished the game with a hat trick and one assist. Wines also had five goals and one assist in a 15-14 loss to Guilford and eight goals and two assists in a 17-8 win over East Lyme.

GAMES TO WATCH Staples at Guilford, Thursday, 6:

Two top-10 teams go out of conference for this showdown as the No. 9 Wreckers visit the No. 4 Grizzlies.

St. Joseph at Canton, Thursday, 6:30:

St. Joseph is 8-6 and five of its losses have come against teams ranked in the state’s top 10. Canton, meanwhile, is 9-2 and in fourth place in the Class S standings.

Daniel Hand at Cheshire, Friday, 6: Two of the SCC’s contenders class in a Friday night contest. Cheshire won their first meeting this season 11-8.

Southingto­n at Masuk, Friday, 7: Masuk puts its nine-game winning streak on the line against a Southingto­n team which has won nine of 10 this season.

Glastonbur­y at Newtown, Saturday, Noon: Newtown is closing in on a top two seed in the Class L playoffs. Glastonbur­y, a traditiona­l CCC contender, has lost three of four, but could give the Nighthawks a big test.

Weston at Masuk, Monday, 6:30:

An SWC battle royale. Weston has just one loss, that coming by a single goal to Newtown, while Masuk hasn’t lost since mid-April.

North Branford at Valley Regional, Tuesday, 4:

A Shoreline rumble has undefeated Valley Regional hosting last year’s conference champion.

Amity at Joel Barlow, Tuesday, 7:

The SCC contender faces the defending SWC champion as teams gear up for the postseason.
