Zennon E. Boughton

Zennon E Boughton 72, of East Haven Ct, passed away peacefully at Hospice in Branford Ct on April 30th 2022. Zenny was born on August 10th 1949 in New Haven Ct. He was the loving Son of the Late Gordon L Boughton and Pearl M Puchalski Boughton. Zenny was an Army Veteran of the Viet Nam conflict where he was a marksman with the M-16 rifle and the 45 acp. He was trained as a tank driver. Zenny was honorably discharged in 1973. Zenny worked many trades starting with auto body at Bradford ford in Hamden, He then worked at installing fences both resident and commercial where he eventually became the foreman. After that he began driving trucks hauling bulk cement. From there Zenny had several truck driving jobs until he was hired as a driver for the U.S. Postal Service driving tractor trailers until his retirement. Zen was an avid fisherman both fresh and salt water throughout his life. He was also a lover of animals especially his two Black Labradors Slick and Magic. Zenny is survived by his brother Stephen (Peg) Boughton. There will be a mass of Christian burial Tuesday May 17, 2022 at 11am at Our Lady of Pompeii church Foxon Rd East Haven.
