Susan Terrone-Donnelly

Susan Terrone-Donnelly, of New Haven, died peacefully on May 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in

New Haven on December 31, 1969 to Vincenzo and Leslie Natale Zeek Terrone.

She was a graduate of

St. Mary’s High School and worked in banking for several years. Susan was a real spitfire. She loved being out in the sun, going to the beach, watching comedy movies and being with friends and family. She was always able to make everyone laugh with her sassy personality. Her eyes were as big and blue as the ocean.

Besides her parents,

Susan is survived by her son, Joseph Gavin Donnelly, who was her pride and joy; a brother, Vincent Joseph Terrone; her nieces, Lilly Rose and Ella Rose Terrone; her former husband, Jay Gavin Donnelly; as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Gennaro and Assunta Bernardo Terrone, Raymond

Robert and Audrey Savatier Zeek; her aunt, Rosa Scalo; and her uncle, Michael Bajek, Sr.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4-7pm in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Pl. New Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10am in St. Michael Church 29 Wooster Pl. New Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
