Mary E. Willis, age 68, of Venice, FL, passed away Thursday May 19th, 2022. She was born August 12th, 1953, in New Haven, CT, to Fred and Agnes Lucas. Mary enjoyed crafts, spending time with family, the Victorian era, and her hats. Mary was a fun-loving, social butterfly who could be counted on as being the life of the party. She will be remembered as someone who had a bold personality and was always thoughtful of others. She is survived by her husband, Richard Willis; and sons, Richard A. Willis Jr., Derek S. Willis, and Brian J. Willis; brothers, Fred Lucas, William Lucas and, Richard Lucas; sister Nancy Banahan. A gathering of friends is scheduled at the Farley Funeral Home in Venice at 9:00 am on Friday, May 27th; a memorial service will follow at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
