Thomas G. Terranova, Jr.

Thomas G. Terranova Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his home in Franklin, North Carolina on May 9, 2022 at the age of 70. Born September 1, 1951 to Thomas G. Terranova Sr. and Marian Giannone Terranova. He was the husband of Ann D’Albero Terranova.

Tom, “T”, grew up in Stratford, Connecticut where he was a 1969 graduate of Bunnell High School. Tom graduated with a degree in aviation management from New England Aeronautical Institute. Tom was a very proud Vietnam Veteran in the US Air Force, where he was a B52 crew chief. In 1979. “T” and his parents opened up the TerraNova restaurant in Litchfield, New Hampshire, where Tom worked many hours alongside his parents and brother, Sal.

Tom is survived by his wife, Ann; his daughter, Juliana Vaccaro of North Carolina. His son, Paulie Vaccaro, preceded him in death. He is survived by his siblings, Joanne Terranova Scalzi (Lenny), his brother, Sal Terranova (Maureen); his nieces, Tricia

Boone(Waymon), Jennifer Nolan, Leah Scalzi (Dave), Shannon Powers; and greatnephews, Matthew Nolan and Luca Stavrevski all of Milford, CT.

Macon Funeral Home in Franklin, NC, is in charge of arrangements. A service for his family and friends will take place in Stratford, Connecticut, at St James Catholic Church, 2070 Main Street, at 10:30 am on May 31, 2022.

Burial will take place at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH, on June 2nd at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516 Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
