New Haven Restaurant Week runs Oct. 16-29

New Haven Restaurant Week is returning this Oct. 16-29 and is set to feature 23 restaurants in eight different neighborhoods.

The restaurant week event, which is now on its 14th year, gives participants a chance to sample the best of New Haven eateries and support their local community. The restaurants will have a per-person “prix fixe” lunch and/or dinner option and the site recommends making reservations ahead of time.

In terms of parking, The Shops at Yale will offer free two hour parking with a same-day purchase of $50 or more from participating restaurants at lots located at 255 Crown St., and Park New Haven will offer a $5 lunch parking rate from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. while restaurant week is on.
