Dual-threat quarterback Nolan Groom’s legs were the difference as he ran three touchdowns and recorded a teamhigh of 95 yards rushing. He also completed 19 of 33 passes for 209 yards. The defense limited Bucknell to a mere 109 yards passing,

What you need to know: An offensive onslaught led by quarterback Marquez McCray helped Sacred Heart beat Stonehill 40-27. McCray completed 21 of 30 passes for 405 yards (third best in school history and nine short of a program record) and one touchdown. Many of those passing yards were split between two receivers: Kenneth Womack and LJ Haskett. Womack racked up a career-high 173 yards on eight catches while Haskett ended with 135 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown reception at the end of the third quarter.

What you need to know: Post fell 67-20 Saturday to New Haven, allowing two quick touchdowns in the first quarter. Their first score came off of a blocked punt which Talik Birton returned for a 37 yard touchdown to make it a 14-7 game. By the time Post made it back to the end zone, the Chargers had gathered 41 points.Quarterback Broghean McGovern was15 of 26 for 153 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions.

What you need to know: SCSU secured their its first win of the season on homecoming weekend after scoring 17 points in the first quarter en route to a 37-20 victory over Franklin Pierce. Wallingford’s Jordan Davis rushed a team-high of 65 yards with one touchdown, Meriden’s Tylon Papallo recorded a 82-yard punt return for a touchdown before scoring on a 49-yard reception. This will be Bentley’s homecoming weekend.

What you need to know: WestConn broke a string of eight straight losses to Framingham State last Saturday with a 35-14 win. Chad Blaszky carried the ball and team by rushing 28 times for 123 yards and two touchdowns, as his second put the Wolves ahead 21-7 late in the third and put the game away.

What you need to know: Wesleyan held off Tufts 26-22 after consecutive sacks from Keith Henderson and Zach Glenn in the final minute of the game. The Cardinals put up a seasonhigh of 530 yards of total offense. David Estevez threw for 187 yards and one touchdown while also running 53 yards, and
Nik Candido threw for a career-high of 200 yards, completing 10 of 15 passes with two touchdowns. This game marked Wesleyan’s third straight win, and the Cardinals now share second place in NESCAC with Middlebury.

What you need to know: Trinity’s defense did held Middlebury’s running backs to negative 16 yards total rushing, leading the Bantams to a 27-21 victory last Saturday. Running back Colin McCabe was the game-changer for Trinity, scoring two touchdowns, including one with 1:08 left that sealed the deal for the Bantams. With the win, Trinity maintained sole possession of first place in the NESCAC.
