Linda Joan Chabot October 20, 2022

Linda Joan Chabot, 68, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2022 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was a long time resident of Guilford. Linda was born on October 14, 1954 in Manhattan, to the late Mr. Herve Chabot and Mrs. Beatrice (Landry) Chabot. Mother of Christopher Yorzinski of Old Saybrook, Adam Yorzinski of Guilford, and Matthew Yorzinski of Clinton. Loving grandmother to four granddaughters, Emma, Zahra, Madison, and Amira. Linda is also survived by her sister, Rita Galbo of Norwalk, CT; and brother, Herve Robert Chabot of Riverside, CA.

Linda grew up in Norwalk, CT and received her high school diploma in 1972 from Brien McMahon High School. After several years spent home raising her sons in Guilford, Linda continued her education and became a registered nurse. She retired from Yale Fertility Clinic in New Haven, CT.

Linda enjoyed an active social life surrounded by friends and family. She was an avid reader, gardener, cyclist, and traveler. Linda loved the beach and being by the water.

Loved ones may call Friday, October 28 from 4-7 p.m. at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church Street, Guilford.
