Also surviving him are his loving grandchildren, Matthew (husband of Melanie), Christopher (husband of Severina), Douglas (husband of Carrie), and Michael (husband of Brittany). He has eight great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings Arthur (husband of Katherine), George (husband of Sandy), and sister-in-law Mary Lou. Stosh was predeceased by his sister Melanie and brother David. The family would like to especially acknowledge Crystal, Lil, and Francis for the tender love and care they provided to Stosh, which allowed him to remain at home with his family through the end of his life. Stosh was a lifelong resident of Milford, born and raised on River View Farm. He worked at Avco Lycoming for 39 years and was a member of the National Guard and Knights of Columbus. Stosh “Razor Clam” was an avid member of the CB radio community and always had an amazing vegetable garden. During his 30 years of retirement Stosh and Elaine spent most of their time traveling around the United States with their camper. This included a particularly memorable trip to Alaska. They also hiked many miles of the Appalachian Trail and all of the 4,000 footers in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Friends and family have fond memories of the quality time spent in their home which was always open for holidays, birthdays, and impromptu get-togethers. A private memorial service will be held later next year.
