After a long illness, which she endured with dignity and grace, Carole Jean Murgo entered into eternal rest on February 12, 2023, with her loving husband Dominic by her side. Carole was born May 21, 1944, daughter of Daniel and Violet O’Neil Alberino.

She retired from The Southern Connecticut Gas Company and was a driver for CT Handivan for many years. Carole was a loving mother to her cherished son Joseph, and so very proud of his many accomplishments. She was a loving “Gammy” to her granddaughters Kaia and Kylie.

Carole was the life of every party. Her sense of humor, quick wit and charm endeared her to everyone. Carole had a caring, generous heart and was always willing to help everyone. She was an amazing cook, baker and a wonderful hostess. Carole and Dom’s North Haven home was the site of many legendary Christmas Eve feasts and Alberino family reunions. Everyone loved Carole and she will be missed so much.

She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Dominic Murgo, her son Captain Joseph Murgo ( Jaime-Lynn) East Haven Police Department, two beautiful granddaughters Kaia and Kylie, who were the loves of her life, her sisters Rosemary (Benjamin) Figueroa, Gail (Robert) Lawlor, four nephews Robert, David and Brian Lawlor, Benjamin Figueroa, and predeceased by her nephew and Godson Daniel Figueroa.
