Corinne Sommo, 79, of Wallingford, CT, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023 at Midstate Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence (Larry) Sommo for 57 years.

She served Our Lady of Fatima Church as Director of Middle School Religious Education, Confirmation Coordinator and organized a Peer Ministry team, guiding teen members to develop leadership skills necessary to guide younger members of the parish in faith and action. In 2018, Corinne was recognized by the Archdiocese of Hartford for her 45 years of service to Our Lady of Fatima Religious Education and was nominated for Catechist Honors 2019 – which celebrates the dynamic mission of gifted catechists, parish catechetical leaders and youth ministers.
