Vincent Caruso, born February 15th, 1951, peacefully passed away on June 7th, 2023. He was surrounded by his loved ones, who will forever cherish the memories shared with him. Vincent leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication and family that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Born in New Haven, Vincent Caruso, the son of Frank and Virginia Caruso, embarked on a remarkable journey throughout his life. Family held the highest priority in his heart, and he was a dedicated and loving father, grandfathe­r, son, brother, and uncle. His love for his family ran deep, and nothing brought him greater joy than nurturing his two sons, Vincent and Nicholas, who filled his life with immeasurab­le pride. Throughout his life, he generously shared numerous stories, wisdom, and laughter with his beloved family and friends. A passionate sports enthusiast, he found immense joy in coaching his sons and witnessing the flourishin­g athletic achievemen­ts of his granddaugh­ters. Alongside his family, he held a profound love and affection for his sons’ friends, who became an extension of his own circle. His presence lit up any room, and he had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel loved. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jr. and Nicholas Caruso, his daughters-in-law Christina Caruso and Cori Campion. His grandchild­ren include Hayly, Ayva, Olivia, and Avery Caruso. Additional­ly, he is survived by his siblings Mary Velardi, Lucy Caruso, and Val Caruso, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Although he is no longer physically present, his spirit will forever live on in the cherished memories we hold dear. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Friends are asked to go directly to church. Burial in Centervill­e Cemetery.
