Daniel Hess, Norwich Tech, Sr.: Scored 32 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and added six assists in Norwich Tech’s 84-68 victory over Norwich Tech.

Jake Johns, North Branford, Sr.: Had 24 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, four steals and three blocks on Senior Night in the Thunderbir­ds’ 68-38 win over Wilcox Tech.

Mason Krott, Morgan-Clinton, Sr.: Scored 28 points in the Huskies’ 64-44 win over Hale-Ray-Moodus.

Connor McRae, Norwich Tech, Sr.: Scored 31 points in Norwich Tech’s 84-68 win over Windham Tech.

Abijah Miller, SMSA, Sr.: Finished with a triple-double (10 points, 11 rebounds, 10 blocks) along with seven assists in SMSA’s 84-33 victory over Stafford.

Liam Pacific, Shepaug Valley, Sr.: Scored 22 points in Shepaug’s 78-52 win over Litchfield.

Anthony Williams, Windsor, Sr.: Scored 26 points in a 96-71 win over Bloomfield.

NOTABLE

• Conard senior Riley Fox surpassed 2,000 points in a 57-47 victory over Hall. Fox became the 27th CIAC player to accomplish the feat. He finished with 30 points.

• Senior Michael Coggins broke the all-time career scoring record at Suffield, passing former UMass standout, and current Suffield assistant coach, Jeff Viggiano (1,637 points), in a loss to Ellington. Coggins has 1,643 points.

• East Hartford junior Dom Laduca scored his 1,000th career point in a loss to Manchester.

• Glastonbur­y junior David Smith scored his 1,000th career point in a loss to Bristol Eastern.

GAMES TO WATCH

FCIAC tournament semifinals, at Wilton, Tuesday, Feb. 27, 5:30 p.m.: The defending champions are still alive: Danbury beat Stamford in Saturday’s quarterfin­als. The Hatters face Trumbull in one semi while Ridgefield, which went unbeaten during regular season league play, battles Staples, which ended the Tigers’ run at a five-peat last year in this very round.

CCC tournament­s semifinals, at University of Hartford, Tuesday, Feb. 27, 6 p.m.: Newington, the No. 12 seed, has pulled a pair of seeded upsets against Southingto­n and Northwest Catholic, respective­ly, to reach the semifinals. Farmington has done the same thing at No. 11, eliminatin­g New Britain, then Manchester. The rewards? Farmington faces Windsor while Newington gets the defending champion, East Catholic.

SCC tournament final at M&T Bank Arena, Wednesday, Feb. 28, 7:30 p.m.: Notre Dame-West Haven is the two-time champion and No. 1 seed. Hillhouse advanced to last year’s final and has a chance to do so again. Hand and West Haven also advanced to Monday’s semifinals.

SWC tournament final at site TBA, Thursday, Feb. 29, 7 p.m.: Can either Bunnell or Weston derail a fourth straight title game matchup between defending champion Kolbe Cathedral and regular-season champion Notre Dame-Fairfield?
