Tree Swallow Cruise and Wine Tasting
The Connecticut River Coastal Conservation District’s 14th annual Tree Swallow Cruise and Wine Tasting to benefit the Connecticut River Watch Program will be held from 6-9 p.m. Aug. 21 aboard the RiverQuest at Eagle Landing State Park in Haddam.
Three-hour sunset cruise, fine wines and food, and the swallow ballet.

The East Haven Senior Center and Pearls of Pauline are co-sponsoring trips to Foxwoods Resort Casino Aug. 15, Sept. 5, Oct. 10 and Nov. 7.
Cost is $25 per person and includes roundtrip motorcoach transportation, casino package ($10 slot play and food voucher for free buffet or $10 in any food vendor), and driver’s tip. Bingo on your own.
