RIVERA, JR., JULIO

Julio Rivera Jr. 53 formerly of Hamden, CT, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 27, 2018. Julio was born in New Haven on April 26, 1965 to his proud and loving parents Anna Lydia Lopez-Cordero and Julio Rivera Sr. Julio was proud to be an employee of Yale Universities Maintenance Dept. for 15 years, where he enjoyed his work and the cameraderie of his co-workers. Julio loved life and cherished the times with his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and brightened the room with his presence, he will be greatly missed. Julio was predeceased by his mother Anna Lydia Lopez-Cordero; he will lay to rest with her in Puerto Rico. Julio leaves behind his two daughters; Charlees Rivera and Juliana Rivera, his two grandchildren; Chayse and Camren, father; Julio Rivera Sr. of Florida, three sisters; Zilquia Porto, Nancy Rivera and Ana Rivera-Rodriguez and brother; Javier Rivera. A Catholic Mass and Burial is planned at a future date in Puerto Rico.
