Seasoned pro helps her clients through every step of the process
Anne DeGregorio had always found the real estate field to be a fascinating profession, so much that she decided to attend classes to obtain her license while pregnant with her second child.
“I loved looking through the real estate books and attended lots of open houses,” she said. “So when I became pregnant, I decided I wanted a career that would let me have flexible hours.”
After receiving her license in 2001, DeGregorio was able to achieve her goals by joining the close-knit group of agents at Press/Cuozzo Realtors. She credits her brokers, Stephen Press and John Cuozzo for their commitment to standing behind their agents and clients.
“We truly are a team at Press/Cuozzo,” she said. “It’s hard to explain, but Stephen and John have done a fabulous job of hand picking their agents.”
As a seasoned real estate professional, DeGregorio readily acknowledges that there are many good agents in the local real estate market. However, she strives to set herself apart by getting to know her clients on a personal level in order to deliver exceptional service.
“I think what makes me a little different is that I truly care about my clients and I listen to them,” she said. “I consider myself a ‘hand holder’ through the whole process.”
DeGregorio takes a very personal approach to her role as a Realtor. She feels a strong obligation to her customers and considers herself to be “a bit of a mother hen” when it comes to serving her clients.
“They are entrusting me with one of their most valuable assets, and I take that seriously,” she said. “Whether it’s their first house or their fifth, I treat every client like they are my only client.”
DeGregorio has found the real estate profession to be extremely gratifying. To this day, she still feels that the most rewarding aspect of her career is personally handing the keys to a buyer at the closing.
“To most people, owning a home is a dream come true, and I get it!” she said. “I am humbled to be part of their dream.”
