‘Agent of the 21st century’
The real estate profession has always been a part of Michael Albert’s life, so it was a natural transition when he decided to become a licensed agent in August of 2015.
“My mother was a full time agent and would often bring me along to the office and to showings,” Albert recalled. “I knew from my childhood how rewarding the job had been for my mother.”
After pursuing a degree in business management and working in several sales and hospitality positions, Albert came to realize that he preferred a career that would allow him to work directly with customers.
“I enjoyed the opportunity to make long lasting relationships, but felt like I would enjoy a position where I could help my clients more personally,” he said.
From that point, Albert decided to fully transition into the real estate profession. He feels that his work history has positioned him to “put the right foot forward” in pursuing his newest career.
“I have loved every minute of it,” he said. “It’s a challenging job, but very rewarding to be able to help in such a significant life purchase.”
Albert credited his brokerage for the role it has played in his success. He explained that the company provides a strong support system and a wealth of tools and training opportunities.
“Working for Coldwell Banker is a huge benefit when it comes to staying up to date with new regulations and marketing strategies,” he said.
Albert has found the profession to be a
perfect match for his personality and skill set. He also prides himself on his belief in being honest and hardworking.
“I like to think of myself as the agent of the 21st century,” he said. “I am very hands on and enjoy being able to use technology as a way to differentiate myself from other agents.”
Albert thrives on the most gratifying aspect of his career, which is to witness the excitement of a client who has purchased their first home.
“Without a doubt, the most rewarding moment is bringing a first time home buyer to the closing table,” he commented.
