MARESCA, RONALD BURTON

Ronald Burton Maresca, 76 of North Haven died peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of fifty five years to Therese Cavallaro Maresca. Ron was born in New Haven on February 21, 1942, a son of the late Carl and Catherine Petrosino Maresca, and had resided in North Haven for the past fifty three years. Ron received his Master’s Degree and Sixth Year Degree in Education from Fairfield University, and worked for the City of New Haven, Dept. of Education for a total of thirty five years, retiring as the Director of the Co-Op School of Arts. Ron is also survived by his daughter Catherine Ann Dubaio, and her husband Michael, and two grandchildren, Tanner and Alexys Dubaio, all of North Haven. He was predeceased by his brother, Dr. Robert Maresca. Ron’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. His funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. in St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Ave., North Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
