A lifelong interest with homes

-

Matthew Redden has always had an interest in houses, particularly the prospect of flipping, having always done his own remodeling and repairs.

While in the process of purchasing his first house, he took real estate licensing classes primarily for self-advocacy and education. But when a family friend who was a very successful Realtor caught wind of the news, she made sure he went for it, and he hasn’t looked back since.

Redden looks to form real relationships with his clients to better understand their needs during the current transaction as well as in the future.

“Often, I am invited to their family gatherings and to see their excitement in telling their friends and family about how I helped them fulfill their dream is my reward for a job well done,” Redden said. “Touching people’s lives in such a major aspect as helping them to secure a home of their own is a reward in itself, but when they tell their friends and family about me and how they must call me for their own needs, it is such an honor and provides a great feeling of pride.”

He credits his brokerage for being a tremendous resource for his business and enabling him to service his clients.

“Coldwell Banker provides an amazing network of professionals to consult, along with the absolute best marketing tools in the industry,” he said. “Both Coldwell Banker and the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors provide endless amounts of continuing education that I am always taking advantage of. I make sure to attend at Company: Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

When he’s not working with clients or working on his own house, Redden spend as much time as possible hiking and kayaking in the summer, and skiing in the winter.

“I am an outdoor sports fanatic. Nature is where we come from and it is so grounding to be out among the trees... and the exercise doesn’t hurt either!”
