Therese L. Carlson, age 90 of New Haven, passed away peacefully at CT Hospice in Branford. Beloved wife of the late Warren F. Carlson Sr. Therese was born in New Haven on June 7, 1928 to the late Albert and Lena (Degnan) laoue. She was known as the Lunch Lady at Kimberly School in New Haven and for several years worked at the Kleban Corp in West Haven where she retired. Therese was a devoted Catholic and a member of the Rosary Society, and a volunteer at St. Peters in New Haven. She loved children and liked to be silly, she was a wonderful person, with a heart of gold. Therese was also a fan of Shirley Temple for many years. She is survived by her 4 children, Warren (Linda) Carlson Jr. of Griswold, CT, James Carlson, Therese Martin, and John Carlson, all of New Haven. Two brothers, Albert Laoue and Mark (Virginia) Laoue of West Haven. Nine grandchild­ren, Michael, Erica, Kayleigh, James Jr., Robert Jr., Nicole, Kaitlyn and Courtney. And one great grandson, Dylan. Therese is predecease­d by two sisters, Bernadette Maturo and Kathleen Longyear; a brother, John Laoue, two sons, Richard and Thomas, daughter in law Linda and a grandson, Kenneth. Family and friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St., West Haven Tuesday November 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at St. Lawrence Church, Main St., West Haven at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in West Haven.
