STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
1 Eastern Connecticut State University men’s lacrosse team includes: Ian Beling ’20 of Cheshire, plays the defense position and majors in mathematics; Jesse Cala ’18 of Woodbridge, plays the midfield position and majors in physical education; Ralph Criscuolo ’20 of Wallingford, plays the defense position and majors in physical education; Noah Lohman ’20 of Branford, plays the defense position and majors in communication; Edward Moran ’20 of West Haven, plays the attack position and majors in business administration; Matthew Robidoux ’20 of Cheshire, plays the midfield position and majors in communication; Matt Rougeot ’18 of Cheshire, plays the attack position and majors in sport & leisure management; Anthony Choronzy ’20 of Clinton, plays the midfield position and majors in business administration. Choronzy received the Little East Conference men’s lacrosse defensive player-of-the-week award for the week ending March 18, his first LEC award this season.
1 This year’s Eastern Connecticut State University women’s swim team recorded 625.5 points, the most by a Warriors’ team since 2014. At the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships, six Eastern swimmers combined for 23 awards, the most since 2014. The team finished fifth place overall for seventh time in the last nine years. The students who swam for this year’s team included Orange residents Maggie Lasto, class of 2021, who majors in exploratory arts and humanities; Megan Lasto, class of 2021, who majors in visual arts; Mollee Lasto, class of 2019, who majors in health sciences.
