Bilingual Orange Realtor utilizes a variety of marketing strategies

-

Gisele Chona grew up in the real estate business, as her mother ran a successful real estate company for many years.

Chona takes great pride in the fact that her mother was the first Hispanic to open up a real estate office in the New Haven area. For the past 23 years, she has been following in her mother’s footsteps, providing a full range of real estate services to sellers, buyers and investors.

Chona is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. Her tagline, “estoy para servirle,” translates into “I’m here to serve you,” and it is the foundation of her customer service philosophy.

“I am a very big believer in giving back and treating others as you want to be treated,” she said.

A significant portion of her clientele are repeat customers as well as referrals, which serves as a testament to the service she provides.

Chona works with a wide array of buyers and sellers and is knowledgeable of firsttime home buyer programs as well as being highly experienced in short sales. She utilizes a variety of marketing strategies to ensure that her listings stand out, including providing clients with pre-staging consultations, social media and professional photography.

Chona stays on top of current market trends and credits her brokerage as offering extensive training, education, the latest technology and an exceptional support team, lead by broker and manager Aileen DeFeo.

“My broker is a very hands-on full-time manager,” Chona said. “She commits all her time and energy to helping her agents. Aileen is always a phone call away.”

For Chona, the greatest reward of her real estate career is the relationships she develops with her clients.

“My clients become my extended family. I love it when my clients send me invitations to weddings, birthday parties, baby showers and weekend barbecues. I enjoy the bonds that are formed. I can’t think of any other profession where clients and customers become like family.”
