An empathetic yet honest approach

-

After 10 years working in human resources, Brette Stern decided to leave the corporate world in 2005 to pursue a real estate career where she could assist people in a much more personal way.

“There is something very satisfying about getting to know individuals, their wants and needs, and helping them to fulfill their goals,” said Stern, who enjoys and values individuality and loves the versatility that comes with dealing with diverse individuals and unique circumstances.

Stern employs an empathetic yet honest approach to help her clients achieve their dreams of finding the right home. She is also adept at asking specific questions to help with understanding buyers’ wants, needs and motivations.

“I think of myself as a real estate matchmaker who facilitates the connection between buyers and sellers to create future homeowners,” she said.

Stern explains that the goal for all clients is to sell the home for the most amount of money in the least amount of time. She emphasizes the importance of educating her sellers on what is realistic to expect during the home sale process as well as what is a reasonable price range that a home will command.

She credits her brokerage, Calcagni Real Estate, for being a market leader and offering clients innovative ideas on marketing and selling homes, with a focus on quality, service and honest communication.

The Connecticut native and mother of two is deeply connected to the community and her children’s schools in her hometown of Cheshire. She is actively involved

Personally, Stern loves living in New England and adores the historic feel and charm of small New England towns.

“I love the change of seasons we have in the Northeast as well as the New England coastline. I am passionate about selling homes, the clients I work with and for, and the towns where my clients live and want to live.”
