She loved spending time with friends and family and was especially dedicated to her daughter Cynthia who was the pride and joy of her life. She visited Cyn at Bridebrook Health Center in Niantic several times weekly. Those who knew Gloria understood that “neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night” would keep her from seeing her daughter.Glo was a driving force in the establishment of a home-setting for her brother Carmen who passed away in 2006 and other young individuals with special needs. For many years Gloria had a Bible quote on her dresser from Matt 25:21, “Well done my good and faithful servant”. Her life certainly reflected that quote. She was a dedicated member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in New Haven.Glo was a loyal fan of the UConn women’s basketball team and watched the games with much enthusiasm. During her years as a legal secretary she worked at the office of attorney and friend, Bill Nulsen. Her loving family includes her brother Bob and sister-in-law Kathy who reside in Florida, nephew and niece Dr. Alan and Susan Litsky of Ohio, sister-in-law Beatrice Litsky of Florida, and nieces Marcia (David) Goldsholl and Simi (Cliff) Kress of Florida.
