LUPOLI, GALE SANDRA (SENDEROFF)

-

Gale Sandra (Senderoff) Lupoli, age 70, of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on Saturday December 29, 2018 at Milford Health & Rehab with her family by her side. Born on July 23, 1948, in New Haven, the daughter of the late Marvin and Rita (Potter) Senderoff. Loving mother of Melissa Pisani of Milford, Carl “CJ” (Amy) Lupoli Jr. of Wallingford, and Elicia Lupoli of Seymour. Beloved grandmother of Jack Pisani, Brett Pisani both of Milford, Patrick Lupoli, and Cameron Lupoli both of Wallingford. Aunt to David Senderoff of West Haven and Adrienne Reed of South Carolina. She was the wife of Carl Lupoli Sr. of Cheshire for over 22 years and remained cherished friends. Gale attended North Haven High School and graduated in the class of 1966 and went on to attend UCONN for undergrad. She courageously battled cancer and her long term illness of Multiple Sclerosis. Gale adored her family and most of all she loved being a mother and a grandmother. Gale was a simple woman enjoying a slice of pizza, McDonalds cheeseburger, fries, Diet Coke and her sweets. Gale had a humble impact on so many lives. Unable to walk she brought the outside with her plant collection and enjoyed watching the birds feed outside her window. Her children’s friends have become part of the “extended family” often bringing treats or visiting her to watch her favorite movies Rocky, Titanic and Pearl Harbor over and over again. The family would like to send their most sincere thank you those at Milford Healthcare that in the last couple days, visited from surrounding units, came in on their days off to say goodbye, effortlessly tried to keep her beautiful and maintain her integrity, spent countless hours ensuring her comfort and ours and providing us an area of privacy in the last hours. The impact our mother had on everyone was overwhelming!

Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2019 in Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park, as she will be laid to rest with her beloved pets Sam, Lincoln, and Adam. The family would like to thank her two favorite nurses Michelle, Day, Laurie and Debbie, her aides Mo, Bernice, Shawna and many others that she brought smiles too and they treated as one of their own.
