Real estate runs in the family

Danielle Rownin was born into the real estate business. Both her mother and step-father are Realtors, and her step-father was previously a builder. After a 10-year career in sales and marketing, she decided to leverage those skills into a real estate career. Today, her real estate business is a true family affair. She and her husband Matt have been selling real estate for 16 years and head up the Rownin Associates team.

Their philosophy is “win-win or no deal.” “Everyone can win in a real estate transactio­n. Buyers get the home of their dreams, sellers get to move on to their future, and we get to earn our living by helping them achieve their personal and financial goals through real estate,” she explained.

The team takes a very consultati­ve approach with clients. “We get in the trenches and learn what is driving and motivating our clients to purchase or sell,” says Rownin. “Then together we set goals and create a success plan designed to quickly and effectivel­y get them to their destinatio­n.”

The team is proactive, prospectin­g daily on the phone, knocking on doors, and networking with other agents looking for ready, willing, and qualified buyers for every home they list. This “boots to the ground” approach has lead the team to succeed in selling their listing inventory to their own buyers 40 percent of the time.

When working with buyers, from the onset they take them step by step through the process before they ever set foot into a house. “It helps set the stage for what is to come, answers many questions, and alleviates much of the stress and anxiety because they are well-informed,” says Rownin.
